So what do you do when you check a barrel that has been sitting at the top of a warm, dry warehouse and when you do, you realize that well over half of the whisky has disappear (those greedy angels taking more of their share). Distillery manager Gurpreet Ranu thought he had better quickly bottle the remaining liquid and, just for fun, he decided to bottle it at true cask strength. I can tell you from my preliminary tasting ... this might be the best spirit he has produced (and he won a World Whisky Award this year for this exact thing). But be warned, this great taste comes with a heavyweight puncher's punch ...
