Bulleit was founded in 1987 and is one of the fastest-growing whiskeys in America. In 2017, Bulleit celebrated its 30th anniversary with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The distillery was constructed with a focus on sustainable practices including natural habitat protection, water conservation and local ingredient sourcing.
Because Bulleit Barrel Strength is being bottled straight from the barrel, uncut and unfiltered, the ABV will vary by batch.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas.
Palate: Tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, dry and satiny with a light toffee flavour and deepened oak notes.
