The Chairman’s Stock bottlings explore an array of casks which have been specially selected from our late Chairman Hedley G Wright’s private collection.
Released in small batches to preserve the limited stock available, the Chairman’s Stock range features single cask, cask strength whiskies varying in age and cask type.
Rarely seen as a single malt, which allows independent bottlers to present this spirit to whisky lovers, Dailuaine spirit is heavy and meaty thanks to the long fermentation period, quick distillation and the use of stainless steel in the condensers. This expression was re-casked into a Fino Sherry cask in 2020. Total worldwide outturn: 288 bottles
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Green olives, peanut butter, marmite, ripe banana, cigar box.
Palate: Anchovies, tobacco leaf, seaweed, samphire.
Finish: Honey, ginger, waxy fruit.
