The Macallan Classic Cut is a series of annual expressions that celebrates Macallan’s ongoing commitment to seek out the extraordinary and in doing so create whiskies of unique character. This exceptional single malt has been matured in a combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak, and ex-bourbon casks. The 2024 version of the Classic Cut is the eighth release in the series and was created by whisky maker Steven Bremmer.
Producer's Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich vanilla, orchard fruits, marzipan, citrus peel, freshly picked herbs and sweet oak.
Palate: Rich vanilla, baked custard. milk chocolate, sweet green apple and balanced oak spices.
Finish: Long, rich and sweet finish.
