Cadenhead’s Classic Blended Rum is a blend of Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica & Panama Rums bottled at a higher ABV. Although it is a continuous product it can vary between batches as Cadenhead never mass produces meaning that every Cadenhead release is unique. And just like their whiskies, Cadenhead is proud to say that they do not add artificial colouring or chill filter.
Nose: Salted caramel, slight oakiness, tropical fruits and a hint of funk (no doubt frin the Jamaican component).
Palate: The youth shows here, but not unpleasant. Delicious freshly poured but it has some teeth. Changes and mellows in the glass with time.
Finish: Long, with tannic dryness.
