Penelope Bourbon Toasted Series explores new and unique expressions of their signature four grain straight bourbon whiskey. After full maturation in charred new American oak barrels, Penelope Bourbon is finished in a new, freshly toasted barrel. Each batch is a unique blend of three bourbon mash bills and all have different custom chars & toasts – making each bottle unique and different. The barrels selected for this series are the best the inventory has to offer and they all go through an extensive hand-selection process. This is a great bourbon, especially if you like toasted barrel expressions.
Nose: Sweet butterscotch, light and floral with some faint allspice.
Palate: Sweet Cream, slight oak, vanilla, grassy, wet grain.
Finish: Short, leaving behind the slight oakiness.
