Sadashi, which means ambitious in Japanese, perfectly represents this high-end expression - a blend from the Niigata region with a local customary finish in Mizunara oak casks. This blend of whiskey (50% malt, 50% grain) is first aged in sherry and bourbon barrels with a delicate finish in Mizunara oak barrels to reveal its spicy nature.
Nose: A woody aroma with hints of vanilla and flowers.
Palate: Fresh oakiness with a touch of honey nectar, malt, a hint of citrus, coffee beans and spicy sandalwood on the back of the palate.
Finish: Short, dry and warming.
