Cooley
The Cooley Distillery began life as a government-owned potato alcohol plant producing medical-grade alcohol. In was purchased and
converted into an Irish whiskey distillery in 1987 by entrepreneur John Teeling who, in turn, sold it to Beam Suntory in 2011.
