A showcase of masterful maturation, this deep and enigmatic 15 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask beautifully reconciles its sweet and gently spicy persona.
Matured for at least 15 years in European Oak Oloroso Sherry casks and American Oak ex-Bourbon casks, our 15 Year Old is finished in European Oak Oloroso Sherry seasoned casks.
Nose: Gentle wood smoke with a hint of sweet peat, raisins, figs and walnuts.
Palate: Subtle smoke with oak spices. Dried apricots, poached pears, salted caramel and a pleasant maltiness.
Finish: Medium length with mocha, stone fruit and slight tannins.
