The Jean Boyer Company, founded in 1994, works directly with producers to offer authentic expressions produced using traditional methods. Its Gifted Stills collection features exceptional barrels from distilleries with an innovative style.
Cameronbridge, located in the Scottish Lowlands, is the largest (and oldest) grain distillery in Europe. This 2011 from Jean Boyer is a small-batch, single grain expression aged in first-fill wine barriques and bottled at 43% ABV.
Nose: Candied fruit, toffee and nutmeg with notes of citrus and a touch of spice.
Palate: An abundance of honey, vanilla, and caramel balanced by lingering subtle oak and hints of ginger and cloves.
Finish: Long and satisfying, with a touch of cinnamon.
