Baldur’s (formerly known as LMD Whisky) carries on a tradition of excellence. Saskatchewan grains are milled and mashed on-site, ensuring the freshest ingredients go into every bottle. Time-tested distillation methods coax out the full potential of the grain. Each release then undergoes a unique process — first in new charred oak casks for boldness and finished in specialty casks for a touch of unexpected flavour.
Release 002 is made from 100% Canadian Rye and is aged in charred oak barrels to highlight its robust flavour.
Nose: Aromas of cinnamon, black pepper and dried fruit.
Palate: Rich in baking spices, toffee and toasted oak.
Finish: Medium with lingering oak and rye spice.
