Have you heard the one about two engineers that go on a canoe trip in the Yukon ... Well, that was the inspiration for Bob Baxter and Al Hansen to begin brewing beer in Whitehorse in 1997. Fast forward 12 years later and inspiration strikes again. That is when they purchase a still and start making Two Brewers whisky.
Celebrating the shared history of beer and whisky, Two Brewers takes the flavours (and the equipment) of a brewery to create their one-of-a-kind whisky; an act of ingenuity that marries their engineering background with a passion for beer and spirits.
This expression, from the Innovative Series, sees a unique marrying of fresh brewers' wort and mature whiskies. Rather than watering down the whisky pulled from each exceptional cask, Two Brewers seeks to elevate and accentuate the casks' flavours, creating a bright and complex composition, inspired by the tradition of the Distillers' Breakfast.
