Opened in Park City Utah in 2006 after founder, David Perkins, visited a Kentucky distillery and saw significant parallels between his chosen
profession (biochemist) and the fermentation and distillation of whiskey. High West whiskey began with a tiny 950 litre still in a small Saloon in a historic livery stable and garage before moving to a modern, 17,200 sq. foot facility on the Blue Sky Ranch in 2015.
